San Marcos Interceptor Sewer Phase 2

The San Marcos Interceptor Sewer Phase 2 project consists of replacing the existing 21” sewer interceptor with larger diameter pipelines between Twin Oaks Valley Road and Lift Station No. 1. Phase 2 is the portion from the Via Vera Cruz to Lift Station No. 1.

PLM_1.1 Pipeline

The PLM_1.1 Pipeline project was recently completed for the Willamette Water Supply Commission. This project included 1,370’ of 66” steel water pipeline and was completed in December 2020. Part of the pipeline was installed under a live 63″ watermain.

Taggart Outfall Rehabilitation Project Complete

Taggart Outfall Sewer Pipe was built in 1906 by hand with picks, axes, horses, and dynamite and now serves nearly 18,000 homes and 1,700 commercial properties in SE Portland. It is 114 years old and nearly at the end of its functional life. The design work on rehabilitation of this sewer tunnel started in 2014 with actual construction work starting in 2020.
